  • Staff are interviewed and recruited by the nursery owners and managers
  • Childcare practitioners receive a detailed and robust induction and probationary period
  • Staff have regular supervision meetings to support their own well-being and ensure continuous professional development
  • All children develop a special relationship with a 'key person' who supports the child in feeling cherished, safe and special
  • Every key person values each child as unique and, through this nurturing relationship, encourages learning and development as appropriate for the individual

We will foster genuine partnerships with every child's family

  • We know that working closely with a child's parents and carers gives children a sense of security and a better chance of success
  • We keep parents informed about their children's achievements at nursery and ask to be kept informed about things at home
